Leaders who listen move faster

By Team KabriTO1 min read

In many organisations, listening is treated as a delay. Push first, says the tempo. Evaluate later. But in practice we see the opposite: leaders who can listen early and well rarely have to revisit decisions later.

Three things listening leaders do differently

  1. They ask one clarifying question too many, not one too few.
  2. They make room for silence instead of filling it.
  3. They reflect back what they've heard before acting.

Why this matters

A good decision in a complex environment is almost never a solo act. It is a synthesis: of data, experience, intuition, and what others know that you don't yet. Listening is how you make that synthesis possible.

Being fast and being hurried are not the same thing.

At KabriTO we work with leaders entering phases where complexity increases. Coaching helps them do their best work — which often begins with listening better.
